I am deeply passionate about providing counselling, education and support to women facing the many challenges of parenting and have a keen interest in working with parents who want to find more joy and balance in their experience and whose children have behavioural issues and/or have been diagnosed with mental health issues such as depression and anxiety.
Working on a one-to-one basis I provide mothers, children and families with life-changing support, skills training and psycho-education.
As an accredited Mental Health Social worker (AMHSW), with full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) my work in the mental health field spans 15 years.
During this time, I have worked in a variety of settings including Child Protection, Services for Separated Families, Education and private practice counselling both individuals and groups.
I have worked in the treatment of many psychological presentations including:
- Anxiety disorders
- Depression
- Perinatal & Postnatal Anxiety and Depression
- Family conflicts
- Relationships issues and life crises
- Trauma, relationship issues and life transitions
I utilise evidence based psychological interventions in my work such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Positive Psychology, Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy and a Strengths Based approach.
But perhaps most importantly, when working with children and families my approach is client centred, collaborative and distinguished by empathy, respect, authenticity and honesty
It is my honour to be in a position to bring all of my wisdom and experience to help create lasting change in the daily lives of others, as such I am currently offering private appointments (supported by Medicare rebate) at two different locations;

Please note;
As an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW) I am eligible to provide services through the Commonwealth-funded Better Access to Mental Health Care and Chronic Diseases Management (Enhanced Primary Care) programs. Social workers are also providers in the Access to Allied Psychological Services (ATAPS) program.
This provides opportunities for patients referred by General Practitioners to access the Medicare rebate.
60 minute appointments are $120 and the Medicare rebate is $74.80.
For this you will require a written referral letter and mental health care plan before contacting the clinic and making an appointment.
